Tagged: #HealthInsurance
Hello, I am looking to buy Medicare prescription coverage, I just wanted to ensure it covers all the drugs. Even the ones to increase metabolism(losing/gaining weight purposes)?
Medicare Prescription Drug coverage (Part D) does not cover drugs that treat anorexia. Part D does not cover weight loss or weight gain medicines; however, drugs that remove bodily wastes at some specific disease or condition may be included. Furthermore, you are not in luck if you are dedicated to using metabolism-enhancing drugs to fasten weight loss. Fertility drugs, and Viagra, are not included in prescription drug coverage. Beauty-enhancing drugs are also not included, along with multivitamins and over-the-counter medicines. Paracetamols to treat flu or cold are excluded too.
