In the beginning Covid 19 was not a known entity to the medical establishment. Governments never before had to deal with it or its malevolence. Regardless, we the people had to deal with it using the best knowledge we could independently gather. But the four sectors of medical scientists, politicians, the media and big tech formed a stew of various ways and methods to counter the virus’s affects.

While some actors were making it up as they went along, others knew exactly what they were doing…for good and for evil. Corruption and coverups extended the suffering as some pursued power and wealth at the people’s expense. Ultimately, misinformation (or disinformation) spread cynicism, fear and distrust. The power and ignorance of a central government over-road our rights guaranteed by our U.S. Constitution.

Government has no power to usurp those rights or interfere with our decision making. Instead, those in opposition to our choices need to make the case – find another way – to change our minds. But in the end…the decisions must be ours alone to make and in full consideration of the risks vs. benefits, to ourselves and to others, of that decision.
